If you’re looking for a recommendation for a good bundt cake pan then you’ve definitely come to the right place. Today I’m going to talk about four different cake pans that are popular and relatively inexpensive. Hopefully when you’re done with this article you’ll have a pretty good understanding of the different options that are available at the different price ranges.
Bundt cake is definitely my dessert of choice and having the bakeware readily available in my own kitchen so that I can bake my own cakes whenever I want is very important to me. When it comes to bundt cakes, bakeware is very important because if you don’t have a good pan then the cake just won’t come out right.
Today I’m going to talk about four different cake pan companies and their respective models. These will include:
- OvenStuff Non-Stick 12 Cup Bundform Cake Pan
- Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-1/2-Inch Fluted Cake Pan
- Nordic Ware Pro Form 6 Cup Bundt Pan
- Kaiser Bakeware Kaisercast 9-1/2-Inch Classic Bundtform Pan
OvenStuff Non-Stick 12 Cup Bundform Cake Pan
At $10, you’re going to be pretty hard pressed to find a pan cheaper than this. But at the same time it’s a fairly high quality piece of bakeware that should meet your baking needs. As the name suggests, it holds 12 cups of batter and is scratch resistant and has a heavy weight steel construction and nonstick finish that helps cleanup tremendously. Everybody that’s reviewed this has given a 5 out of 5 stars review.
Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-1/2-Inch Fluted Cake Pan
This pan cost $14 and is a 9 1/2 inch diameter of fluted sides that makes beautiful cakes. It’s made of heavy gauge aluminum steel that will heat evenly throughout. It has a nonstick interior and thick rolled edges that should keep it from warping as time goes on. It’s also dishwasher safe making it very easy to keep clean. I give this pan a solid 93% A- based on customer reviews.
Nordic Ware Pro Form 6 Cup Bundt Pan
This pan also cost $14 and is made of heavy formed aluminum with a nonstick interior. Unlike the last one, this one requires hand washing which may be a little annoying to most people. This is a smaller sized pan that will hold half the size of most recipes so be very aware of that. I give it a strong 97% A.
Kaiser Bakeware Kaisercast 9-1/2-Inch Classic Bundtform Pan
We’re now getting into the higher-end price range with this $20 cake pan that has a 12 cup capacity and a classic German design from the 14th century (Germany invented the bundt cake, don’t ya know!). It’s made of high quality cast aluminum that should give even heat distribution throughout the cake and has a double layer nonstick coating which makes cake release easy and clean up simple. I give this a 100% A+ because every review I’ve seen gives it five out of five stars.
If you’re looking for a Bundt Cake Pan you really can’t go wrong with any four of these different models. It really just comes down to two things, size and price. If you’ve got a few extra dollars I recommend the Kaiser pan, but you should be happy with any of them.
