At $45 this is a great little steak knife set. It features four 4 and 3/4 inch knives made of high carbon stainless steel with poly handles that encases the full tang. These are dishwasher safe but we really recommend that you wash them by hand to make them last as long as possible. They come in a presentation case, not a knife block.
Wusthof Silverpoint2 6-Piece Steak Block Set
Similarly priced at $49 this is a nice little six piece set that comes with its own wood knife block and slightly larger handles for better grip which is sometimes important for cutting steak. The blades are compound tapered and laser tested for sharpness.
Wüsthof 8-Piece Stainless-Steel Steak Knife Set with Wooden Gift Box
At $80 this is a very elegant set that comes in its own designer case that really stands out with mahogany stain. The knives themselves are high carbon 18/10 stainless steel with serrated blades that are precision forged. The handles themselves are silver which makes you think they may be hard to grip but that’s not the case at all. Not all cutlery needs plastic handles you know!
Wusthof Grand Prix2 4-piece steak set
At $150, now we’re getting into the higher end price range for these sets. They have a tapered blade that is laser tested for sharpness and made of high carbon German steel with a textured synthetic handle that makes it very easy to grip and saw steak. This set comes in its own case but without a block.
Wusthof Classic Ikon 4-Piece Steak Set
Finally, at $250 this is certainly the top of the range steak knife set. These knives look sleek and elegant and are sure to skewer your steak nicely. They have four half-inch blades and are precision forged from a single piece high carbon German stainless steel that is laser controlled and laser tested. These steak knives come with double bolsters which gives them a nice balance and a secure comfortable grip. If not just any steak knife will do; if you require effortless cutting of steaks, then this is the set for you.
