When it comes to choosing a quality cheese grater you have many options to choose from and in fact we review many of them on this website. But if I had to pick just one brand to grate my cheese I would choose Zyliss any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Zyliss Classic Rotary Cheese Grater
At only $13 this simple but elegant little appliance won’t take up much space on your table or counter but will add huge benefits to all your cooking endeavors. The classic design couldn’t be more easy to use. This is a very simple piece of cookware that just does what it’s supposed to do. It’s also a very comfortable tool to use because the rotary design allows you to grate more cheese. You can even use it on chocolate. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars based on aggregate reviews.
Zyliss All Cheese Grater, Fine and Course Drum Set
At $16 this is a slightly more substantial and sophisticated grater. It comes with two drums that allow both fine and coarse cheese grating. The drum snaps in and out very easily to allow for simple dishwasher cleaning. This little guy is designed to grate, let me tell you! If you’re looking for a rotary grater, this may be the one for you. I give it an 86% B+ grade because some people suggest that it’s a little harder to keep a hold of with your hands.
Zyliss 11370 Classic Rotary Grater
At $15 this is an interesting grater that should be included in everyone’s list of kitchen gadgets. You’ll find this grater in use by many restaurants yet at the same time it is dishwasher safe. The one drawback to this model is that it is not very widely reviewed by many customers which poses a slight risk that you should be aware of.
So there you have three basic Zyliss models that represent what we’ve come to expect from this company. If I had to choose between the three I would go with the very first one every time and at just $13 it’s even the cheapest of the three!
